Your Warrior Inside

No, I'm not forcing you to be happy or joyous. If you want to be, this advice might help you.

Life can be an incredible pain at times.  Sadness, hurt, despair, dissapointment all scrape away at one's soul.  Bad, worse, and even worse things can beat anyone down.  Waves of despair sometimes pound and pound away at you.  Just when you think it's finally over, they pound away some more!  When crap happens, you must remember you have a Warrior inside of you.  A strong, fearless fighter.  One that roars in denial of defeat.  One who can be mighty enough to overcome and smash any emotional despair.  One that you can call upon anytime.  How do you find the Warrior inside of you?

Simply remember times in your life of strength and hope.  Books, movies, songs, pictures people, memories: anyone or anything that reminds you of strength and hope. Doing so will help you feel better.  Remembering will also motivate you.  Realize that you are the Warrior.  You can beat back the darkness in your heart and overcome fear.  Don't get discouraged if it takes longer than you think to recover from it.

Don't expect results right away.  Despair, sadnesss, and disappoitment are part of life.  Feeling them is normal.  I'm not saying that in this world all of those can be gotten rid of.  Unfortunately, those will always be with us.  How can we know what happiness, joy, and hope are without their contrasts?   What a person can do is call upon their inner Warrior to fight back against the despair consuming them.  You can beat the fear, dissapointment, sadness, and depression.

Realize you can be the Warrior.
